To turn closed captioning on or off with the
on-screen menu:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
2 Press
W or X to highlight Settings. The Settings
menu opens.
3 Press
T or OK/ENTER to access the menu.
4 Press
S or T to highlight Closed Caption, then
press OK/ENTER. The Closed Caption sub-menu
opens.
5 Press
S or T to highlight Caption Control, then
press
W or X to select the closed caption mode.
You can select:
• CC Off—Turns off closed captioning.
• CC On—Turns on closed captioning.
• CC On Mute—Turns on closed captioning
when the sound is muted.
6 Press EXIT to close the menu.
Selecting the closed captioning mode
To select the closed captioning mode:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
2 Press
W or X to highlight Settings. The Settings
menu opens.
3 Press
T or OK/ENTER to access the menu.
4 Press
S or T to highlight Closed Caption, then
press OK/ENTER. The Closed Caption sub-menu
opens.
5 Press
S or T to highlight Analog Caption or
Digital Caption, then press W or X to select the
mode you want.
6 Press EXIT to close the menu.
