Ignition Switch
The ignition Switch has three positions. OFF, RUN and
START. Always remove the ignition key when tractor is
not in use.
V.
GreenSentry Switch
This switch is used to test the GreenSentry system or
disable the horn after a low oil level or leak has been
detected. Keep switch in its ON position when starting
or operating the tractor. To test GreenSentry system, set
switch to OFF and turn ignition key to RUN. See Section
3.6
W.
Charge Filter Light
Light should illuminate when ignition switch is RUN
position and engine is not started. If light remains
illuminated after 10 minutes of operation, the charge
filter must be replaced. If light does not illuminate before
starting engine, check and replace the bulb if defective.
X.
Engine Oil Pressure Light
Light should illuminate when ignition switch is in the
RUN position and engine is not started. Once engine
starts light should turn off. If light does not go out after
starting engine, or turns on during operation, stop
engine immediately and have the system inspected and
repaired. If light does not illuminate before starting
engine, check and replace the bulb if defective.
Y.
Voltmeter
Used to monitor battery condition. Gauge should never
be in the red area during operation.
Z.
Hour Meter
Records tractor operating hours. Also used to schedule
periodic maintenance.
AA.
Fuel Gauge
Indicates current fuel level. Check fuel gauge daily
before starting machine and periodically during
operation. Never allow the tractor to run out of fuel.
3.6 GREENSENTRY™ OIL MONITOR SYSTEM_____________________________________
Note:
The GreenSentry Oil Monitor System is a tool to
assist in hydraulic oil leak detection. It will not prevent
oil leaks, nor is it intended to replace periodic
inspections and regular maintenance.
1. The GreenSentry light (G) gives an early warning that
there may be an oil leak. However, the light may illumi-
nate during the lift / lower cycle, but will not sound the
horn.
2. The moment an oil leak is confirmed by the
GreenSentry, the horn will sound. Move the tractor out
of the area of operation, stop the engine and have the
system inspected and repaired before resuming
operation.
3. Once a leak has been detected and the horn sounds,
the horn can be turned off with the GreenSentry switch
(V).before the engine is stopped. Once the engine has
been turned off, the GreenSentry switch must be in the
ON position when the ignition is turned on again or the
horn will sound to indicate the system is not active.
