4) Optional switch
When an optional switch is used, the functions specified below
become available by a one-touch action. (SC-920)
(Cautions) Select one of the functions specified below by taking
a one-touch action.

1. Needle up/down compensating stitching
Needle up/down stitching operation is possible by pressing the switch
.
2. Back compensating stitching
Each time the switch is pressed, back compensating stitching
can be performed at low speed.
(Effective only if the constant-dimension stitching pattern is selected
on the CP panel)
3. Function of canceling reverse stitching at end once
When the switch is pressed, reverse stitching at end is canceled
once for the next sequence.
4. Thread trimming
When the switch is pressed, thread trimming can be carried out.
5. Presser lifter function
When the switch is pressed, automatic presser lifting is carried
out.
6. 1-stitch compensating stitching
Each time the switch is pressed, 1-stitch compensating stitching
can be carried out.
(Cautions) When the optional switch is used, functional setup
is needed at the control box.

manual for the control box.
