How to use the 2/3 thread converter:
Be sure to turn the power switch OFF.
* This attachment enable the 1-needle type machine to perform
overedging or decorative-stitching for 1-ply fabric. It enables the
2-needle type machine to perform 3-thread super stretch stitch-
ing.
(1) Remove the upper looper thread, and insert the 2/3 thread con-
verter (separately available) into the top section (A) of the upper
looper shaft and fit wire (B) into the hole in the upper looper.
Upper looper (C) : Press the springy wire backward until its top
end fits in the hole in the upper looper.
(D) : If the wireis not sufficiently springy or it can-
not be fitted in the hole in the upper looper
smoothly, adjust the curved section of the wire.
(2) To thread the machine head, pass the lower looper thread above
the wire of the 2/3 thread converter and route it down under the
presser foot.
