4.1 Outline
4.1.1 Panel
A symbol "" in the key column indicates that the key should be pressed and held for 1 second or longer.
4.1.2 Test Modes
These test modes are available in normal production ROM.
Transition to Test Mode shall be available during DC Error detection.
4.1.3 Release from Test Mode
These actions will release the Test Mode and transit back to Normal Mode

Test Mode Mode Source Operation
Production Test Mode - All In during power off, pressing and holding [1] key and [3] key, then
power on the +B power supply.
Service Test Mode Normal Mode /
Production Mode
All Pressing and holding [DISP] key, then press [] key for 7 seconds.
(Starting to press [DISP] key and [] key at the same time can not
be entered into the mode)
Service Information Clear Mode - All In during power off, pressing and holding [RETURN] key and
[ SRC] key, then power on the +B power supply.
DC Error Information Mode - All In during power off, pressing and holding [DISP] key and [] key,
then power on the +B power supply.
DOP Setup Mode Normal Mode All Pressing and holding [VOLUME] key, then press [DISP] key for 7
seconds.
(Starting to press [VOLUME] key and [DISP] key at the same time
can not be entered into the mode)
HC Mecha Running Mode - All In during power off, pressing and holding [ SRC] key and [EJECT]
key, then power on the +B power supply.
Tunisia Area /
Tuner Span Change Mode
Normal Mode All Pressing and holding [VOLUME] key, then press [RETURN] key for
3 seconds.
