If "PAIRING" - "PIN 0000" scrolls on
the display ...
q Enter a PIN (Personal Identification
Number)
code to the Bluetooth device.
• You can change the PIN code of your choice
before pairing. (page 16) [ Initial: 0000 ]
(B) If "8T PAIRING" flashes, then
"[Device name]" - "XXXXXX" -
"VOL- YES" -+ "BACK - NO" scrolls on
the display.
q Check to be sure the passkey appears
on the unit and Bluetooth device is the
same. Then, confirm the passkey on the
unit
by pressing the control dial. Operate
the Bluetooth device to confirm the
passkey.
• "XXXXXX" is a 6-digit numeric code that
appear in d~fferent combination (even ijthe
device is the same) eac~_~!!!.: pairing is made.
5 After pairing is successful, the unit will
establish Bluetooth connection with the
Bluetooth device*.
(0 lights up on the
display.)
• The device remains registered even
after you disconnect the device. Use
<CONNECT PHI CONNECT AU> (or
activate <AUTO CNNO>, page 16) to
connect the
same device from next time
on.
* Some devices may not be able to connect to the
unit after pairing. Connect the device to the

q Enter "Hands-Free" screen.

To delete a registered device
OJ Press and hold MENU.
WTurn the control dial to select
<BLUETOOTH>, then press
to confirm.
Q] Turn the control dial to select
<DELETE PAIR>, then press to confirm.
WTurn the control dial to select a device
you
want to delete, then press to confirm.
WTurn the control dial to select
<DELETE YES>, then press to confirm.
"DELETED" appears when the device is
deleted
If <
DELETE NO> is selected, the unit returns
to
step [I] above.
To connect/disconnect a registered device
CiJ Press and hold MENU.
I1J Turn the control dial to select
<BLUETOOTH>, then press
to confirm.
W Turn the control dial to select
<CONNECT PHI
CONNECT AU> or
<DISCONNT PHI DISCONNT AU>, then
press
to confirm.
[4] Turn the control dial to select a device
you
want to connect/disconnect, then
press
to confirm.
"CONNEOED/ DISCONNECT" -+ "[Device
name]" scrolls on the display when the
device
is connected/disconnected.

phone number
you want to call, then
press the control dial to confirm.

"NO HISTORY" appears if there is no
history stored .

"MANUALLY" appears depending on the
"P. BOOK SEL" settings (page 1 3)
