29.1 Red symbols
Red symbols indicate an error condition that requires immediate intervention.
The engine diagnosis warning lamp (MIL) lights up red The OBD (on-board diagnosis) has detected an emission-
or safety-critical error.
The immobilizer indicator lamp lights up or flashes red Status or error message for immobilizer/alarm system
(optional).
29.2 Yellow and orange symbols
Yellow and orange symbols indicate an error condition that requires prompt intervention. Active driving aids are also represented by yellow
or orange symbols.
The general warning lamp lights up yellow An operating safety (warning) message was detected. This is also
shown in the info display.
ABS warning lamp lights up/flashes yellow Status or error messages relating to ABS (antilock brake system).
29.3 Green and blue symbols
Green and blue symbols reflect information.
The turn signal indicator light flashes green simultaneously with the turn signal The turn signal is switched on.
The idling speed indicator lamp lights up green The transmission is shifted to idle.
The high beam indicator lamp lights up blue The high beam is switched on.
