Detaching Snowblower from Tractor
(Figure 4)
1. Set snowblower in float position, turn
engine off, set parking brake and remove
ignition key.
If using Manual Chute Rotation:
2. Remove the rotation handle, remove the
linchpin (item 4) from male hitch latch and
place male hitch lever (item 1) rearward to
unlock position.
3. Disconnect driveline from tractor. Set
driveline on its support.
If using Hydraulic Chute Rotation:
4. Release hydraulic pressure by moving
control valve lever in all directions.
5. Disconnect hydraulic hoses from tractor
female couplers and install dust caps and
plugs in couplers.
6. Back tractor away from attachment
carefully.
WARNING: To avoid serious
personal injury. Escaping hydraulic/
diesel fluid under pressure can penetrate
the skin causing serious injury
.
Do not use your hands to
check for leaks. Use a
piece of cardboard or
paper to search for leaks.
Stop engine and relieve pressure before
connecting or disconnecting lines.
Tighten all connections before starting
engine or pressurizing lines.
If any fluid is injected into the skin, obtain
medical attention immediately or gangrene
may result.
