Reduction Chain Tension Adjustment
(Figures 8a-8b)
1. Figure 8a: Remove chain cover
(item 1).
2. Figure 8a-8b: Loosen the four
nuts securing the reduction box
(items 2) to the snowblower.
3. Figure 8a: Tighten the chain
using the tightening bolt (item 3)
on left hand side of fan housing.
4. Figure 8b: Leave approximately
1/16" deflection in the bottom
span of chain.
5. Tighten the four nuts securing
reduction box to the snowblower.
Install the chain cover.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damage
to the snowblower, retorque all
bolts after the first 10 hours of
operation.
