Retainer Plate
1. Remove the screws holding the retainer plate and
remove the retainer plate.
Bearing
on the Drive End Side
1. With the drive end frame held level on blocks as
illustrated extract the bearing with a press and jig.

(3) Block
(4) Drive End Frame
(4 Jig
Bearing at the Slip Ring Side
1. Using a puller, extract the bearing in the manner
shown in the figure.
(1) Lightly secure with a vise to prevent damage
(2) Press at the center
