Checking Hydraulic Hose
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
• Be sure to stop the engine and remove the key before
checking and replacing hydraulic hose.
• Allow transmission case to cool down sufficiently; oil can be
hot and may cause burns.
1. Check to see the hose is tight and not damaged.
2. If the worn or damaged of the hose is found, replace it.

Adjusting the Motion Control Lever Pivot
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
• Be sure to stop the engine and set the parking brake to “ON”
before checking.
1. Set the motion control lever (1) in the “NEUTRAL” position.
2. Slightly move the lever back and forth and measure the free
travel at the top of lever stroke.
3. If the free travel limits are exceeded, remove the fender and
retighten the nut (3) to specified torque.
• If the motion control lever pivot bolt (2) is maladjusted,
speed control may be difficult.

Checking Intake Air Line
1. Check to see that hoses and hose clamps are tight and not
damaged.
2. If hoses and clamps are found worn or damaged, replace or
repair them at once.
