VALVE CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT
The correct valve clearance changes with use,
resulting in improper fuel/air supply or engine
noise. To prevent this, the valve clearance must
be adjusted regularly. This adjustment however,
should be left to a professional KYMCO service
technician.
FRONTBRAKE PADS
Theclearance between thebrake pads andbrake discs is
Adjusted automatically as the pads wear. The only
maintenance that is required is to replace brake pads
when they become worn. To check the thickness of the
brakepads use thisprocedure.
1.Removea frontwheel.
2.Measurethe thickness ofeach brake pad.
If the thickness of less than 1.0mm(0.039in),take your
ATV to aKYMCO dealer tohave brake padsreplaced.
3.Reinstallthe wheel andtighten the lugnuts to 61N-m.
