Absolute value encoder
Absolute value encoders can detect the speed, the rotor posion, and the machine posion
with a very high resoluon. They are used for the posioning of dynamic applicaons and do
not require homing.
With the aid of the open feedback protocol HIPERFACE DSL® and in connecon
with the digital absolute value encoder AM20‑8V‑D, the motor supports the
future-oriented One Cable Technology (OCT).
