To maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs,
carbon brush inspection and replacement, any other
maintenance or adjustment should be performed by
Makita Authorized or Factory Service Centers, always
using Makita replacement parts.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES

• These accessories or attachments are
recommended for use with your Makita tool
specified in this manual. The use of any other
accessories or attachments might present a risk of
injury to persons. Only use accessory or
attachment for its stated purpose.
• Your tool is supplied with a guard for use with any
recommended grinding wheel, multi-disc, flex
wheel and wire wheel brush. If a diamond wheel
and/or cut-off wheel are also available for use with
the tool, they should only be used with the
appropriate optional guard for cut-off wheels.
If you decide to use your Makita grinder with
approved accessories which you purchase from
your Makita distributor or factory service center, be
sure to obtain and use all necessary fasteners and
guards as recommended in this manual. Your
failure to do so could result in personal injury to you
and others.
