Shallow Water Operation
The outboard is equipped with a shallow water tilt feature that allows you to tilt the outboard to a higher tilt angle
to prevent hitting bottom.
ENGAGING SHALLOW WATER DRIVE
1. Reduce engine speed to idle. Shift the outboard into forward gear position.
2. Push down the shallow water drive lever. Tilt outboard up to the shallow water drive position. Be sure the
cooling water intake is submerged.
