Zinc Anode
1. Secure zinc anode with bolt. Torque bolt to 70 lb-in. (8 Nm).

Water Pickup Screen
1. Secure pick-up screen using screw.

Gear Housing Installation
WARNING
To prevent accidental engine starting remove (and isolate) spark plug lead from
spark plug before installing gear housing.
1. Remove and isolate spark lead from spark plug.
2. Tilt and lock outboard to full “UP” position.
