Cruisecontrolenablesthedrivertomaintainaconstant
roadspeedwithoutusingtheacceleratorpedal.This
isparticularlyusefulformotorwaycruising,orforany
journeywhereaconstantspeedcanbemaintainedfora
lengthyperiod.
CruiseControlSystemActivation
Cruisecontrolsystemisoperatedwithaleverlocatedat
leftsideofthesteeringwheelunderneaththelightinglever
switch.
1WiththeignitionswitchinpositionON,ifthelever
switchisin"CruiseStandby"position(4),thenthe
cruisecontrolsystemisinstandbystate;atthistime,
theyellowcruiseindicatorlamp
ontheinstrument
packilluminates,iftheleverswitchisin"ASLIn
Standby"position(7),thentheASLsystemisin
standbystate.
2Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisinstandbystate,
andthecurrentvehiclespeedisabove25mph(the
operatingrangeis25～125mph),pressdownthe
"Set"button(6)attheendofleverswitch,theyellow
indicatorintheinstrumentshallchangetogreen,and
thecruisecontrolsystementersintotheactivation
state.Thetargetspeedofthecruisesystemwillbe
setatthecurrentspeed,andthecruisesystemwill
takeeffect.Atthistime,thecruisecontrolsystem
