throughtheinfotainmentsystemsettings.Thedefault
statusofthesystemaftervehiclepower-onagainisON:
Note:Thepedestrianalertsystemcanonlybeturned
offwhenthereisnopedestrianwithinashortdistance
andthesurroundingsobviouslyshowthatthere’sno
needofawarningtone.

deceleratingandthespeedisabove0mph(0km/h)but
beloworequalto15mph(25km/h).
NotSoundWarnings
Thespeakerdoesnotsoundwhenoneofthefollowing
conditionsismet:
1ThevehicleisnotREADY;
2Thepedestrianalertsystemisdisabled;
3Duringacceleration,thevehiclespeedisgreaterthan
orequalto19mph(30km/h);
4Duringdeceleration,thevehiclespeedisgreaterthan
15mph(25km/h).
