mode.

The air conditio
ner will not ope
rate if curtains,
doors or anythi
ng else block the signals from
the remote controller to the indoor unit.
Prevent any liq
uid from falling
into the remote
controller. Do not exp
ose the remote controller
to direct sunlight or heat.
If the infrared signal receiver on the indoor unit
is exposed to d
irect sunlight, the air conditione
r
may not function properly. Use curtains to prev-
ent the sunlight from falling on
the receiver.
If other electric
al appliances react to the rem
ote
controller. Either rem
oves these appliances or
consult your local dealer.
When replacing ba
tteries, do not use
old batteries or dif
ferent type batterie
s. Otherwise, batt-
ery leakage may damage the remote controller.
If you do not use the remote controller fo
r more than a few weeks, remove the ba
teries, othe-
rwise, batteries leak
age may damage th
e remote controller.
The average battery
life during normal u
se is approximately half a year.
Replace the baterie
s when there is no receiving beep from the indoor unit or i
f the transmiss-
ion indicator on remote controller fails to light.
