This motor is designed to be installed on
angled tiled, pantiled, slate or shingle
roofs; the slope of the roof must be at
least 22° to prevent the ingress of rain or
snow.
Consult a roof tiler for advice regarding
other types of roofing.
This motor is not suitable for
installation on flat roofs.
Installation must only be carried out
by a qualified competent person.
The external motor is connected to the
cooker hood by means of a control
cable, and is operated by the control
panel on the cooker hood.
Please refer to the notes in
"Connection for air extraction",
before installing the external motor
and ducting.
The ducting stub on the motor unit has
a diameter of 125 mm when the
appliance is supplied.
^ If a diameter of 150 mm is required,
the front ring of the stub must be cut
off at the join with a sharp knife (see
illustration).
