General problems
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The display is dark. The dishwasher has
switched off
automatically to save
energy.
Switch the dishwasher on
again with the K sensor.
The interior lighting
does not come on when
the door is opened.
The lighting has been
switched off
permanently.
Switch the lighting back on
again (see "Additional
functions, BrilliantLight").
The following fault
message appears in the
display:
Salt reservoir cover
Close the salt reservoir
The buzzer sounds
during a programme.
The salt reservoir lid
has not been closed
properly.

Close the salt reservoir lid
properly.
If the salt reservoir lid has
opened during a programme,
you must:
– Switch the dishwasher off
and then back on again
with the K sensor.
– Start the programme
again.
The buzzer sounds.
The following fault
message appears in the
display:
Middle spray arm blocked
or
Bottom spray arm blocked
Items are blocking the
path of the middle or
the bottom spray arm.
Open the dishwasher door
and rearrange the items
which are obstructing the
spray arm.
The middle or bottom
spray arm jets are
blocked.

Switch the dishwasher off
with the K sensor.
Then:
–
Clean the spray arm. See
"Cleaning and care".
