Clear CMOS Button
There is CMOS RAM present on board that is powered by an external battery to store
system con󰘰guration data. Using CMOS RAM, the system can automatically boot into
the operating system (OS) every time it is turned on. If you wish to clear the system
con󰘰guration, press the button to clear the data.
Coaxial S/PDIF-Out
This S/PDIF (Sony & Philips Digital Interconnect Format) connector is provided for
digital audio transmission to external speakers through an coaxial cable.
Optical S/PDIF-Out
This S/PDIF (Sony & Philips Digital Interconnect Format) connector is provided for
digital audio transmission to external speakers through an optical 󰘰ber cable.
VGA Port (For Z87-G55 only)
The DB15-pin female connector is provided for monitor.
DVI-D Port (For Z87-G55 only)
The DVI-D (Digital Visual Interface- Digital) connector can be connected to a LCD
monitor, or a CRT monitor with an adapter. To connect a monitor, please refer to the
monitor’s manual for more information.
HDMI Port (For Z87-G55 only)
The High-De󰘰nition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is an all-digital audio-video interface
that is capable of transmitting uncompressed streams. HDMI supports all types of TV
formats, including standard, enhanced, or high-de󰘰nition video, plus multi-channel
digital audio on a single cable.
Important
Z87-G55 motherboard supports dual-display or triple-display function by integrated
graphics output ports.
