Digital I/O
M Series devices contain up to 32 lines of bidirectional DIO signals on
Port 0. In addition, M Series devices have up to 16 PFI signals that can
function as static DIO signals.
M Series devices support the following DIO features on Port 0:
• Up to 32 lines of DIO
• Direction and function of each terminal individually controllable
• Static digital input and output
• High-speed digital waveform generation
• High-speed digital waveform acquisition
• DI change detection trigger/interrupt
Figure 6-1 shows the circuitry of one DIO line. Each DIO line is similar.
The following sections provide information about the various parts of the
DIO circuit.
