SAFETY COVERS AND GUARDS

The tractor is fitted with covers and guards for the
personal safety of the operator and others when
working.
CAUTION: Before starting the engine or
using the tractor , check that all covers and
guards are correctly in position.
BONNET -- Fig. 1
The bonnet (1) covers the engine’s moving parts.
It must be closed before the engine is started and the
tractor is used.
FAN COVER -- Fig. 2
Both sides of the fan have covers (1). The cover
shown in the drawing protects the left--hand side of
the fan.
STARTER MOTOR COVER -- Fig. 3
Cover (1) protects the electromagnetic contacts of
the starter motor from accidental contact. It must al-
ways be in place when the batteries are connected
to the electrical system.
Cover (1) protects the battery from possible damage
and the electrical connections from possible acci-
dental contact.
