The Nokia Messaging service must be
supported by your network and may not
be available in all regions.
Install the Nokia Messaging
application
1 Select Menu > Messaging and
New mailbox.
2 Read the information on the
display, and select Start.
3 If requested, allow your device to
connect to the internet.
4 Select your e-mail service provider
or account type.
5 Enter the required account details,
such as e-mail address and
password.
Select Menu > Applications > Email.
Add an additional mailbox
Select New mailb..
Remove a mailbox
1 Select Settings.
2 Scroll to a mailbox, and select
Options > Remove mailbox.
The Nokia Messaging service can run on
your device even if you have installed
other e-mail applications, such as Mail
for Exchange.
About Chat
With Chat (network service), you can
exchange instant messages with your
friends. You can access several chat
services or communities simultaneously
and switch between them. If you want
to, for example, browse the web, you
can leave the Chat application to run in
the background, and still be notified of
new instant messages.
The Chat application is preinstalled on
your device. To start chatting, select
Menu > Chat.
Using network services and
downloading content to your device
may result in data traffic costs.
Message reader
With Message reader you can listen to
text, multimedia, and audio messages
and e-mail.
To listen to new messages or e-mail, in
the home screen, press and hold the left
