InstallatIon
1. Attach manifold to an outdoor hose faucet.
2. Secure manifold to wall using the mounting hardware
and instructions provided.
3. Attach up to 4 valves to the manifold outlets (the valves
are electronically operated and must be attached to the
timer for proper operation).
4. Connect the wire from each valve to one of the
numbered ports on the back of the timer. The
numbers 1 through 4 are the “STATIONS” used while
programming your timer.
5. Install two AA alkaline batteries into the battery tray
(battery tray may be removed by pulling out to the left).
Please ensure that the valves are attached to the timer
before installing batteries. Once the batteries are installed
the timer will immediately begin a start-up sequence.
A countdown from 150 down to 0 will begin on the
display and will take a few minutes. Your timer can be
programmed during the countdown, but the valves cannot
be actuated until it is completed.
6. Create your timer program.
7. Slide timer onto the manifold mounting bracket.
8. Turn on hose faucet.
9. If valves are placed on the two outer positions on the
manifold, the manifold shut-off’s must be opened.
MOUNTING THE MANIFOLD TO THE WALL
1. Attach support rod to manifold by inserting it into the
two mounting holes on the back of the manifold.
2. Mark where support rod touches the wall.
3. Drill a pilot hole using a ¼" drill bit.
4. Attach the support rod using the screw provided.
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
1. Remove the tray on the side of the timer by sliding it out
to the left.
2. Insert two AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included)
and replace the tray.
3. Replace batteries when low battery icon appears.
Replace batteries within 30 seconds or timer
programming will be lost.
Tip: Remove batteries when timer is not in use for
extended periods.
ProgrammIng the tImer
Rotate the dial to positions shown below to complete your
set up.
SET CLOCK
1. Press the + button to advance clock time (hold button
for quick advance).
2. Press the – button to reverse clock time (hold button for
quick reverse).
START TIME
1. Press the STATION button to select each station (1
through 4) being used. (Valve must be attached to the
station you are programming for proper operation).
2. Press the + button to advance start time (hold button for
quick advance).
3. Press the – button to reverse start time (hold button for
quick reverse).
Note: This timer will only run one station at a time. If the
start times overlap, the timer will complete the earliest
start time before starting the next station.
HOW LONG
1. Press the STATION button to select each station being
used (1 through 4).
2. Set how long you would like to water from 1 to 240
minutes using the + and – buttons.
HOW OFTEN
1. Press the STATION button to select each station being
used (1 through 4).
2. Set watering frequency as every 6 hrs, 12 hrs, or from 1
to 7 days using the + and – buttons. 1 is every day, 2 is
every other day etc. up to 7 days.
AUTO
1. Timer waters according to programmed start time,
station, how long, and how often.
RAIN DELAY
1. When in AUTO, press + button to pause watering for
24, 48, or 72 hours. Multiple presses of the + button will
toggle between these options.
2. Screen will flash between the current time and hours
remaining before programmed watering resumes.
3. To remove rain delay, turn dial to OFF and then back to
AUTO, or press the MANUAL/CLEAR button.
MANUAL/HAND WATERING
To water without interrupting the programmed watering
schedule
1. Press MANUAL/CLEAR button.
2. Press the STATION button to select an individual
station (1 through 4), or select all four stations (1,2,3,4).
3. Use + and – buttons to set the manual watering minutes
from 1 to 240 minutes. (it will take approximately 3
seconds for your water to turn on after you have
selected the manual watering minutes).
4. To remove manual watering (turn off), turn dial to OFF
or press the MANUAL/CLEAR button.
5. To resume the programmed watering schedule make
sure the dial is in AUTO.
troubleshootIng
TIMER SHOWS 6 AM ALL THE TIME:
CHECK IF:
1. There is a sticker over the display
VALVE WILL NOT OPEN/CLOSE.
CHECK IF:
1. Valve is properly connected to timer
2. Pressure exceeds 100 PSI
3. Batteries are low
WATER DOES NOT COME ON AT DESIRED TIME.
CHECK IF:
1. Clock is set to correct time including AM and PM
2. Start time is set to desired time including AM and PM
3. Rain Delay is on
4. There are overlapping start time
TIMER DOES NOT WATER.
CHECK IF:
1. Timer is set to AUTO
2. Hose faucet and manifold shut-off for that station are
open
3. Batteries are low
4. Clock is set to correct time including AM and PM
5. Rain Delay is on
WATER WON’T TURN OFF.
CHECK IF:
1. Watering duration is set to desired time
2. Start times overlap
