Built-in test program
P-LIGHT® comes equipped with its own test
programformonitoringandfaulttracing.For
thetestprogramtoshowallvalues,thetruck
mustbecoupledupandrunning.
Toaccessthemenu,holddownpushbuon1
ontheP-LIGHT®boxforapprox.8-10seconds.
Youcanreleasethebuonwhentheprogram
hasstarted.Arollingmenuisthenshownon
the electronics box display. The program’s
versionnumberisdisplayedrst,followedby
thevoltage(V),inthefollowingorder.

Any tripped fuses are indicated via the text
“Err”alternangwith“Fx”where“x”is/are
thereseablecircuitbreaker(s)thathas/have
trippedout.

2015 (C11 & CC1)
Ifthe”C11”or”CC1”appearsonthedisplay,
itisanindicaonthatthebaerieshavebeen
extraordinary discharged resulng in low
baeryvoltage.Thereasoncanbeafaultin
the charger or large output not giving the
baerymeenoughtorechargewhiledriving
thevehicle.
If the baery voltage drops below the
programmedlimit,theterminal10(AUX)will
closeandthenindicates”C11”onthedisplay.
Inordertorestart,5minutesvoltageatthe
terminalsP4/P6isrequired(Thetruckmust
becoupledandthelighngsmustbeswitched
on).Ifthevoltageofthebaeriesnowexceeds
theprogrammedlimit,theterminal10(AUX)
willbeacvatedagain.ItisImportantthatthe
baeriesnowwillbefullyrecharged.
If the voltage does not exceed 24V aer 5
minutes, the terminal 10 (AUX) will remain
oand”CC1”willappearinstead.Thistestis
done each me the voltageis connected to
terminalP4/P6foratleast5minutes.If”CC1”
doesnot stopindicateaerafewaempts,
it is likely that the charger or the baeries
are damaged. In this case, please contact
the appropriate workshop for inspecon
andpossiblereplacementoftheelectronics/
baeries.
Annual maintenance of P-LIGHT®
Checkthatboltedjoints,thebox,pushbuons,
lid seal, baery aachment, etc. are not
damagedorhavenotworkedloose.
Check that cables, connectors, baery
terminals,etc.arenotdamagedoroxidised,
etc.
To prevent corrosion, cable terminals,
connectors, baery terminals, etc. may be
lubricatedwithcontactgrease,whiteVaseline
orsimilarifnecessary.
Checkthecapacityofthebaeriesbycarrying
out load tesng using the designated test
equipment.ThiswillensurethatP-LIGHT®has
sucient baery capacity for the intended
purpose(+margin).
