2. Symbols for restricted use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products:
All electrical and electronic products sold in the People’s Republic of China must bear this
symbol, and the number in the symbol represents the environment-friendly use period
(EPUP) of electrical and electronic products in the normal service condition.
All electrical and electronic products sold in the People’s Republic of China must bear this
symbol, which indicates that this product can only be used safely in non-tropical climate
conditions.
