Work instructions
- Hold the unit with both hands: one hand on
the auxiliary handle 2, the other hand on the
handlebar 1.
- Keep the cutting attachment parallel to the
ground and make sweeping movements
from side to side.
- Walk slowly forwards.
- Use only the tip of the line for cutting, es-
pecially along walls. If more than the tip is
used for cutting, the cutting capacity is re-
duced and the machine may overload.
Warning! Make sure that the guard
is facing towards the user.
- Cut grass which is taller than 20cm from
the top down in small stages to prevent pre-
mature wear of the line and machine resist-
ance.
- Never cut wet grass or weeds.
The trim line may break by:
- becoming entangled with foreign objects,
- normal material fatigue,
- attempting to cut thick-stalked weeds,
- striking walls, garden fences, etc.
Caution! Do not cut wet grass be-
cause it tends to stick to the cutting
means and guard, prevents proper dis-
charge of clippings and could cause seri-
ous injury from slipping and falling on wet
ground.
