Threading
the
needle

Switch
off
the
main switch
Raise
the
presser
foot
lifter
(19)
and
turn
the
handwheel
until
the
take-up
lever
(9)
has
moved
to
the
top.
Place
the
thread
on
the
spool
holder (8)
and
fit
the
corresponding
spool
cap.
Now,
using
both
hands,
pull
the
thread
into
guide
A
and
under
thread
guide
hook
D.
Pass
the
thread
through
the
lefthand
threading
slot
(11)
and
downwards.
Pull
the
thread
around
stop
E
into
the
righthand
threading
slot
and
upwards
to
the
take-up
lever (9).
The
thread
must
be
pulled
into
the
take
up
lever
(9)
from
left
to
right
and
downwards
again
in
the
righthand
threading
slot.
Finally, pass
the
thread
from
the
side
behind
one
of
the
two
thread
guides
(25).
To
thread
the
needle,
place
the
thread
from
front
to
back
through
the
needle
eye.

thread

using

needle
threader
