Shell-edging
is
especially
attractive
on
thin,
soft
fabrics
such
as
silk
and
viscose.
It
is
often
used
as
an
edging
on

Take
care
that
the
fabric
only
runs
half
underneath
the
presser

Tip:
By
sewing
a
colored
woollen
thread
into
the
seam
you
strengthen
the
shell-
edge
while
also
creating
an
attractive
contrast
in
the
seam.
A
fine
fabric
of
another
color
can
also
be
used
instead
of
a
woollen
thread.
