APP Operation
Starting procedure for Android
device users
Connect your Android device to this unit
using Bluetooth wireless technology.
To use the CarMediaPlayer with the
compatible Pioneer product, AppRadio app
should be installed.
AppRadio app can be downloaded from
Google Play.
Main menu
1 Press the [SRC] button to switch the
source to "APP".
"BLUETOOTH" must be ON to access to
the BT source.
2 Select [CarMediaPlayer] to enter.

Elapsed time/Total time of the track
Play/Pause
Play/Pause
Press [ BAND] button on the front
panel to play/pause.
Select desired track
Press [ ] (Left) or [ ] (Right) button to
skip to the previous/next track.
Fast forward/backward during
playback
Press [ ] (Left) or [ ] (Right) button for
more than 2 seconds to fast backward or
forward track during playback.
- During the fast forward or backward
operation, undo the button to playback
again.

regarding the terminals required to use the
application for smartphone on this unit.
For smartphone users
• The device has Android OS 2.3 or later.
• The device supports Bluetooth SPP
(Serial Port Prole) and A2DP (Advanced
Audio Distribution Prole).
The device is connected to this unit via
Bluetooth.
• Compatibility with all Android devices is
not guaranteed.
Notes
• Pioneer is not liable for any issues that may
arise from incorrect or flawed app-based
content.
• The content and functionality of the supported
applications are the responsibility of the App
providers.
