REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

(_ Operation buttons
TVNCR button:
This button can be used only for VCRs with aVCR TV selector.
Toggles the antenna output between VCR and TV.
(STOP) button:
Stops tape transport.
I_ (PLAY) button:
Selects playback.
VCR CH - (DOWN) button:
Shifts VCR's "IV tuner channels in descending order.
VCR CH + (UP) button:
Shifts VCR's TV tuner channels in ascending order.
_41 (REW) button:
Rewinds the tape and allows picture search.
B-_ (FF) button:
Rapidly advances the tape and allows picture search.
[LD PLAYER OPERATION]
I Set the AUDIO/VIDEO switch to VIDEO.
_) Operation buttons
DISC SIDE A/B button:
Changes the disc side in an LD player capable of playing both
sides of a disc.
<P4 (SCAN) button:
Selects fast backward.
IM_ (SCAN) button:
Selects fast forward.
I_ (PLAY) button:
Selects playback.
(STOP/EJECT) button:
Playback is stopped when pressedonce. Pressing again causes
the disc table to come out.
(_ LD POWER button
Switches LD player power ON/OFF.
This only appliesto LD player which you can switch ON/OFF by remote
control operation.
I TROUBLESHOOTING
Incorrect operation isoften mistaken for equipment malfunction. If you think that there is something wrong with this component, check the points
below. Sometimes the trouble may lie in another component. Investigate the other components and electrical appliances being used.
If the trouble cannot be rectified even after exercising the checks listed below, ask your nearest PIONEER authorized service center or your dealer
to carry out repair work.
