Electrical Switches
Engine Stop Switch (3) - The engine will
not start or run when the switch is in the OFF
position. Its purpose is to provide the
operator with a quick means of engine
shutdown in case of an emer gency. To stop
the engine, slide the stop switch either right
or left to the OFF position.
NOTE: Turning off the engine stop switch will shut off all electrical
power to the vehicle, with the exception of the cooling fan on
some models. On those models, use the main switch to shut
off the power to the cooling fan.
Light Switches
The light switch is l ocated on the
left handlebar (1). It’s used to turn
the lights on and off and to switch
the lights from HI to LO on models
equipped with HI/LO beams.
NOTE: The lights won’t work unless the key is in the ON position
and the shut-off switch is in the RUN position.
