• Installing the Batteries
The PDC 3035 comes with four Alkaline batteries. We strongly suggest
the use of batteries designed specically for use in digital cameras. This
will ensure the best possible experience with battery life.
1. Open the camera battery door by pushing it outwards as illustrated.
2. Insert the batteries as shown, ensuring you follow the +/- signs
correctly.
3. Close the battery door by pressing it downwards then slide it back to
lock.

• Turning the Camera on and off
To turn on the camera, fully press and hold the
Power button until the Power LED lights up in
green. Press and hold the Power button again,
then “Good Bye” will show on the LCD screen
and the camera will be off.

• Checking the Battery Level
Check the battery power level before taking pictures.
1. Turn the Mode dial to

, then turn on the camera.
2. Check the power level status that appears on the camera LCD
screen.
Batteries have adequate power.
Battery power is empty. The batteries need
to be replaced or the camera automatically
turns off.
