1. The Occupant Securement Retractor (shoulder and lap
belt) must be 48” (1219mm) from the floor, 6” (152mm)
from the back of the Backrest Base and within the red
rectangular space of 6” x 12” (152mm x 304mm).
2. Place the Occupant Securement Retractor on the wall
and install.
Recommended torque, 21 FT/LB (28.5 Nm).
3. Remove the 3 screws, lock washers and washers on the
upper rear side of the backrest.
4. Place Webbing Guide onto Backrest with the Guide Slot
towards the floor and align the holes. Then place the top
2 screws through the lock washers, washers, Webbing
Guide, Backrest and tighten them.

39. For US ONLY use Option FF and follow the steps listed below.
For Buses without Tapping Plates use Option GG and follow the steps listed on the next page.

5. Slide Webbing all the way through the Guide Slot.
6. Place the bottom screw through the lock washer,
washer, Webbing Guide, Backrest and tighten it.
7. Make sure the Webbing is not twisted and located at the
top of the Webbing Guide.

Installing Occupant Securement
8. Attach the Pelvic Belt Pin
Connector to the Pin on the
Backrest next to the wall.
9. Install a Pin on the wall or
flip-up seat then attach
the Shoulder Belt Pelvic
Connector to the installed
Pin for easy access by
occupant.
