8 DISPENSING STEAM (CAPPUCCINO)
Hot water may spray out when initially dispensing. The tube can get very hot, do not
touch it with your hands. There is a serious danger of being burned.

1. Pull out the steam wand 11.
2. Wait for the illuminated button 5 to go out. 3. Insert the air mixer 12 in the steam
wand 11.
4. Put the steam wand 11 and mixer 12 in the cold milk to heat.
5. Press the steam switch 7, when the beverage has reached the desired temperature and
amount of foam, turn off the switch. The same procedure can be used to heat beverages.
9 CLEANING, REPAIRING OR MAINTENANCE WORK
Before carrying out cleaning, repairing or maintenance work on the coffee machine
disconnect the plug from the socket and wait for the machine to cool off.
9.1 REPAIRING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not open the machine, for faults which require repairs or maintenance, con-
tact a QUICK MILL authorised Technical Service Centre only. The manufacturer
shall not be held liable for inadequate operations.
9.2 CLEANING
The water always has some lime in it and with time this builds up on the machine tubes.
The lime needs to be removed every 3/4 months, when there is a reduction in the amount
of water dispensed. Use lime removal or descalers products specific for coffee machines
which are not toxic. They can be found on the market. Follow the manufacturer’s instruc-
tions on the package.
10 STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
If the coffee machine is not going to be used for a long time, remove the plug from the
socket, keep it away from atmospheric agents (dust, dirt, etc.) storing it in a safe place
out of the reach of children. If you decide not to use the appliance any longer, it is advi-
sable to make it unusable by cutting the power supply cord after unplugging it.
