Examples
*
This
is
a
high-output
amplifier
and
should
only
be
used
with
speaker
systems
capable
of
handling
high
power
levels.
Pay
particular
attention
to
the
setting
of
the
Attenuator
dials.
*
To
prevent
malfunction
and/or
damage
to
speakers
or
other
devices,
always
turn
down
the
volume,
and
turn
off
the
power
on
all
devices
before
making
any
connections.
1.
Stereo
Setup
This
setup
is
for
two
independent
signals
(stereo).
Preamp,
Mixer,
etc.
MODE
Switch
:
Set
the
MODE
Switch
on
the
rear
of
the
unit
to
the
“STEREO”
position.
Input:
Feed
the
left
channel
signal
to
the
input
of
CH
A
and
the
right
channel
signal
to
the
input
of
CH
B.
Speaker
Connection:
Connect
the
left
channel
speaker
to
CH
A
and
the
right
channel
speaker
to
CH
B.
*
Use
speaker
systems
with
a
total
impedance
over
4Q
foreach
Channel.
*
Make
sure
that
the
polarity
of
each
connection
is
correct.
Volume
Control:
Adjust
the
volume
of
each
channel
using
the
CH
A
and
CH
B
Attenuators.

Once
the
connections
have
been
completed,
turn
on
power
to
your
various
devices
in
the
order
specified.
By
turning
on
devices
in
the
wrong
order,
you
risk
causing
malfunction
and/or
damage
to
speakers
and
other
devices.

This
unit
is
equipped
with
a
protection
circuit.
A
brief
interval
(a
few
seconds)
after
power
up
is
required
before
the
unit
will
operate
normally.
2.
BIL
Setup
Ina
BTL
setup,
the
unit
functions
as
a
mono
power
amplifier.
Preamp,
Mixer,
etc.
MODE
Switch:
Set
the
MODE
Switch
on
the
rear
of
the
unit
to
he
“BTL”
position.
Input:
Feed
the
input
signal
to
the
input
of
CH
A.
Speaker
Connection:
Connect
the
speaker
to
the
BTL
Speaker
terminals
(
the
red,
or
positive
terminals
of
CH
A
and
CHB).
The
+
signal
is
output
from
CH
A.
*
Use
a
speaker
system
with
a
total
impedance
over
8
Q.
*
Make
sure
that
the
polarity
of
the
connection
is
correct.
Volume
Control:
Adjust
the
volume
with
the
CH
A
Attenuator.
*
The
Attenuator
of
CH
B
does
not
function.
