the

operation

the
unit.
Additionally,
in
order
to
feel
assured
that
you
have
gained
a
good
grasp
of
every
feature
provided
by
your
new
unit,
this
manual
should
be
read
in
its
entirety.
The
manual
should
be
saved
and
kept
on
hand
as
a
convenient
reference.
Features
e
Atwo-speed
controlled
fan
provides
forced-air
cooling
of
the
interior,
guaranteeing
excellent
reliability.
e
Separate
fans
for
air
intake
and
exhaust
for
even
greater
cooling
effect.
e
This
unit
is
equipped
with
a
temperature
sensor,
DC
sensor,
muting
circuits
and
ASO
protection
circuits
(*1)
to
protect
the
unit
(and
speaker
systems)
in
the
event
of
a
malfunction.
e
Ground
switch
allows
hum-causing
loops
to
be
avoided.
e
Limiter
switch
prevents
problems
that
can
arise
from
excessive
input.
(SRA-540/SRA-800
only)

Mode
switch
allow
selection
of
either
stereo
or
BTL
connection,
making
this
the
perfect
amp
for
any
applica-
tion.

Theamplifier
contains
XLR-3-31
type,
1/4
inch
TRS
phone
type
and
Barrier
Strip
input
connectors,
all
of
which
are
balanced
inputs.

The
high
power
output

the
unit
is

possible

large
power
toroidal
transformers

large
capacitors.

Protection
Circuits:
ASO
stands
for
Area
of
Safe
Operation,
where
the
unit
can
function
normally
without
damage
to
the
power
transistors.
The
ASO
protection
circuits
protect
the
power
transistors
on
the
output
line
when
excessive
power
levels
or
loads
occur.

Complementary
Linear
Outputs
Circuit
Conventional
SEPP,
emitter
follower
output
circuits
apply
a
100
%
voltage
feedback
in
the
final
stage,
causing
even
the
playback
signal
to
be
averaged,
resulting
in
a
lack-luster
sound.
However
this
unit
uses
a
complementary
linear
output
circuit
with
a
collector
output
circuit
as
the
final
output
stage,
producing
highly
efficient
and
linear
output
characteristics,
and
the
ability
to
produce
sharp
and
powerful
transient
attacks.
