Setup
Use
this
setup
when
using
multiple
amplifiers
and
speaker
*
When
powering
up,
always
turn
on
each
piece
of
equipment
in
systems.
order,
starting
with
the
unit
from
which
the
signals
originate;
and
following
the
signal
flow,
turn
on
each
subsequent
unit.
*
When
powering
down,
always
turn
off
each
piece
of
equipment
in
reverse
order,
starting
with
the
unit
at
the
end
of
the
signal
flow;
and
going
back
through
the
signal
flow,
turn
off
each
Preamp,
Mixer,
etc.
preceding
unit.
*
A
parallel
connection
can
also
be
made
when
using
the
STEREO
mode.
*
If
you
wish
to
use
phone
plug
cables
to
connect
two
power
amps,
please
use
a
cable
with
TRS
type
phone
jacks.
*
With
parallel
connections,
the
resulting
combined
input
imped-
ance
will
be
less
than
the
ordinary
impedance.
This
unit’s
inherent
input
impedance
is
10
kQ
(balanced/unbalanced
input).
With
multiple
units
connected
in
parallel,
the
combined
imped-
ance
can
be
calculated
by
dividing
10
by
n
kQ,
where
“n’
is
the
number
of
units
being
connected
in
the
parallel
scheme.
You
will
need
to
check
the
output
impedance
of
all
your
connected
devices
(mixer,
pre-amp,
etc.),
and
make
sure
that
an
excessive
amount
of
load
will
not
be
applied
to
any
of
the
outputs,
such
as
that
of
the
mixer.
