About the Pads
Setup Guide
■ Cymbal Bow Shots/Edge Shots/Bell Shots
When you perform a bow shot, the head instrument is played; edge shots and
bell shots produce the sound of the rim instrument.
CY-6, CY-12H, CY-14C:
Capable of bow shots and edge shots.
CY-12R/C , CY-15R:
In addition to bow shots, either edge shots or bell shots can be
played.
Bell shots are played by striking the bell somewhat strongly with the
shoulder of the stick.

When playing edge shots
with the CY-12R/C or CY-
15R, use the BOW/EDGE
output; for bell shots, use
the BOW/BELL output.
