Listening to Various Sounds
The VK-8 comes with 64 presets stored onboard. Here’s how to switch presets to hear
the various sounds.
There are eight banks of presets, with eight sounds in each bank.
Switch between the presets to hear the various sounds.

1 Press the [PRESET] button to make its indicator light.
2 Hold down the [BANK] button and press one of the buttons from [1]
through [8] to select the bank number.
3 Press one of the buttons from [1] through [8] to select a preset number.
The indicator of the number button you’ve selected will light.
4 Play the keyboard to hear the sound you selected.

If you want to select a preset
from the same bank, step 2 is
not necessary.
While you are pressing the
[BANK] button, the indicator
of the selected bank will light.
Example:
• Switching from preset 11 to preset 18
Press the [8] button.
• Switching from preset 11 to preset 35
Hold down the [BANK] button and press the [3] button. Take your finger off the
[BANK] button, and press the [5] button.
