Limit the noise level to a minimum!
Only use devices that are in perfect condition.
Maintain and clean the device at regular intervals.
Adjust your working style to the power of the ma-
chine.
Do not overload the device.
Carry out regular maintenance on the device.
Switch the device o󰀨 if it is not in use.
Wear protective gloves.
8. Before commissioning
The machine must be securely installed, i.e. bolted
down on a workbench or xed machine stand.
Prior to commissioning, all covers and safety devic-
es must be mounted correctly.
The cutting wheel must be able to run freely.
Before pressing the on/o󰀨 switch, make sure that
the cutting wheel is correctly tted and that moving
parts run smoothly.
Before connecting the machine, make certain that
the data on the type plate matches with the mains
power data.
Release the lock (8).
9. Assembly
Attention! Remove the mains plug before any
maintenance, modication and assembly work.
Transport lock / carrying handle (Fig. 1/2)
1. Use the handle (13) to push the machine head (9)
downwards and pull out the lock (8).
2. Move the machine head (9) slowly upwards.
Hazard due to electrical power with the use of im-
proper electrical connection cables.
Danger to health from running cutting wheel due to
long hair and loose clothing. Wear personal protec-
tive equipment such as a hair net and close-tting
work clothing.
Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.
Residual risks can be minimised if the “Safety infor-
mation” and the “Proper use” together with the oper-
ating manual as a whole are observed.
6. Unpacking
Open the packaging and carefully remove the de-
vice from the packaging.
Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
Check the device and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be
recognised.
If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.

The device and the packaging are not children‘s
toys! Do not let children play with plastic bags,
lms or small parts! There is a danger of choking
or su󰀨ocating!
