This is necessary because the diameter of the cutting
wheel reduces due to wear and therefore the work-
piece would no longer be completely cut through.
1. Loosen the counternut.
2. Screw the stop screw (15) in or out as required.
3. Move the machine head (9) downwards to check
that the cutting wheel (16) reaches the vice stop
(7).
4. Tighten the counternut again.
Replacing the cutting wheel (see Fig. 5/6)
1. Pull out the mains plug
2. Move the machine head (9) to the upper resting
position.
3. Push the movable cutting wheel cover (2) upwards
and hold it in place by hand.
4. Loosen the screw (C) and turn the side cutting
wheel cover (E) backwards.
5. Push the locking pin (3) to the right and turn the
cutting wheel (16) slowly by hand until the locking
pin (3) engages.
6. Use the ring spanner (14) supplied to unscrew the
clamping screw (D) anti-clockwise.
7. Remove the clamping screw (D), washer, outer
ange and worn cutting wheel (16).
8. Insert the new cutting wheel in the reverse se-
quence and tighten.
Attention! The parts must be cleaned carefully before
installation.
Observe the direction arrow!
Only use recommended, reinforced cutting wheels and
only tighten the clamping screw (D) until the cutting
wheel (16) can be held securely and not slip.
If the clamping screw (D) is tightened too tight, the
wheel can be damaged.
Turn the side cutting wheel cover (E) forwards again
and x it in place with the screw (C).
Unlatch the cutting wheel guard again so that the mov-
able cutting wheel cover (2) swings forward again.
10. Operation
On/o switch (Fig. 1)
1. To switch the saw on, press the switch locking but-
ton (11) and the on/o switch (12).
2. In order to switch the saw o again, it is necessary
to release the switch (12) again.
Attention! Due to the return spring, the machine
head (9) automatically moves upwards, i.e. do not
let go of the handle (13) after nishing cutting but
move the machine head (9) slowly upwards with
light counter-pressure.
Fig. 1 shows the machine head (9) in the top po-
sition.
3. For transport, use the lock (8) to lock the machine
head (9) in the bottom position again. See Fig. 2
4. The saw is equipped with a transport handle (10)
for easy transport.
Vice (Fig. 3)
Each workpiece must be xed in a vice before working.
1. Fold the quick clamp lever (5) upwards.
2. Pull the clamping handle (6) out until the work-
piece can be clamped between the clamping sur-
faces (4/7) on the vice.
Clamping jaws position A1 (Fig. 3) for maximum
workpiece width 230 mm
Clamping jaws position A2 (Fig. 3) for maximum
workpiece width 190 mm
Clamping jaws position A3 (Fig. 3) for maximum
workpiece width 150 mm
Note: It is not necessary to turn the clamping handle
(6) if the quick clamp lever (5) is folded up. The spindle
can be pulled out or inserted continuously.
Push the spindle forward until the clamping surfaces
(4/7) touch the workpiece. Fold the quick clamp lever
(5) back down so that the spindle and the quick clamp
lever (5) interlock.
Turn the clamping grip (6) to clamp the workpiece se-
curely in the vice.
Mitre cuts (Fig. 3)
In order to carry out mitre cuts, it is possible to adjust
the stop (7) from 0° - 45° to the left and from 0° - 30°
to the right.
1. Loosen the two screws (A).
2. Turn the vice’s stop (7) to the required angle.
3. Tighten the screws (A) again.
4. When the workpiece is tightly clamped, the front
clamping jaw (4) automatically swivels into the re-
quired position and aligns itself with the workpiece
in order to ensure that the workpiece is securely
xed.
Adjusting the stop screw (Fig. 7)
The downward movement of the cutting wheel can be
adjusted using the stop screw (15).
