stop

inserted
in
idler
pivot
bracket
slot
(C).
There
is
no
adjustment.

sure
the
belt
stop
(D)
is
level
with
the
pulley.
If
the
belt
stop
is
level,
each
side
will
be
an
equal
distance
from
the
belt.
To
reposition
the
belt
stop,
loosen
the
mounting
capscrew
on
the
bracket
underneath
the
pulley.
Retighten
hardware
securely.

Mower
If
the
36
inch
mower
is
giving
an
uneven
cut,
or
if
one
side
of
the
mower
cuts
at
a
different
height
than
the
other
side,
then
the
mower
needs
levelling.
Remember
improper
tire
pressure
can
also
cause
an
uneven
cut.
To
level
the
mower,
proceed
as
follows;
WARNING
To
avoid
accidental
starting
during
levelling
check,
remove
ignition
key
and
remove
both
spark
plug
wires
and
fasten
them
away
from
the
spark
plugs.
1.
With
the
mower
installed,
place
the
tractor
on
a
smooth
level
surface,
such
as
a
concrete
floor.
2.
Check
for
bent
blades,
and
replace
if
necessary.
3.
Arrange
the
mower
blades
so
that
they
are
both
pointing
from
side-to-side,
perpendicular
to
the
tractor.
Engage
the
clutch.

Measure
the
distance
between
the
out¬
side
tips
of
each
blade
and
the
ground.
If
there
is
more
than
1/8
inch
(3
mm)
difference
between
the
measurements
on
each
side,
proceed
to
step
5.
If
there
is
I
/
8
inch
or
less
difference
proceed
to
step
6.
5.
Remove
the
cotter
pin
holding
on
the
mower
levelling
rod
(figure
39).
Short¬
en
the
rod
to
raise
the
left
side
of
the
mower,
or
lengthen
the
rod
to
lower
the
left
side
of
the
mower.
Put
the
levelling
rod
back
in
its
hold
and
recheck
the
measurements.
When
both
sides
are
the
same
height,
replace
the
cotter
pin
in
the
levelling
rod.
6.
Disengage
mower
clutch
then
arrange
the
blades
so
they
are
facing
front
to
back,
parallel
with
the
tractor.
Engage
mower
clutch
again.
7.
Measure
the
distance
to
the
ground
from
the
front
tip
of
the
left
blade
and
the
rear
tip
of
the
right
blade.
The
measurements
should
be
equal.
If
they
are
not,
proceed
as
follows.
