Dashboard Display
Compare the dashboard's features and controls(Figure4) to
the table that follows.
Item Name Function
A Transmission Oil Temperature Shows temperature of
transmission oil.
B Hydraulics Selector Shows active hydraulic circuit.
C Front/Rear PTO Light Shows which PTO is ON.
D Tachometer Shows the engine RPM.
E Cruise Control Light Shows that the cruise control is
ON.
Item Name Function
F Low Oil Pressure Light Shows that the engine oil
pressure is low. If this indicator
light comes ON, immediately
STOP the engine.
G 4 Wheel Drive Light (4WD
Models only)
Shows that 4WD is ON.
H Cut Height Shows approximate cutting
height of mower deck.
I Engine Oil Temperature Shows engine oil temperature.
J Hour Meter Shows the number of hours the
unit has been operated.
K Fuel Gauge Shows the fuel tank level.
L Battery Light Shows low battery voltage.
M Malfunction Indicator Light
(MIL)
Shows malfunction of
a computerized engine
management system.

Operation
Read theOperator Safetysection before you operate this
machine. Make sure that you know the controls and how to
stop the unit.
Operating Area
1. Know the area where you plan to operate the mower.
2. Make sure that the area is free of unwanted material that
could be picked up by the blades and thrown.
DANGER
This machine is capable of throwing objects that could
injure bystanders or cause damage to buildings.
Do not operate the machine without the entire grass
catcher, discharge chute, or other safety devices in
place and functioning properly. Check frequently for
signs of wear or deterioration and replace as needed.
Clear the operating area of any objects which could
be thrown by or interfere with the operation of the
machine.
3. Move the rider mower outside, before you start the
engine.
