ROAD RUNNER STITCH
FAGOTING STITCH
Use these stitches fagoting, embroidery, patchwork or
strengthening seams.
This is an open, lacy stitch used to join two pieces of fabrics.
• Fold under edges to be joined and press.
• Baste the edges 1/8" (3mm) apart onto a sheet of tissue
paper for support.
• Position center of work under center of presser foot.

Adjust balance, if necessary
• As you sew, the needle should make a stitch first in one fab-
ric strip, and then in the other.
• After stitching is completed, remove tissue and basting.
