How to manage the access rights* for users with lower access
level
Standard management* of access rights
As user with Supervisor rights you can define which main
functions of the X-ray unit can be set or modified by the
users with access levels Local supervisor 1, 2 and 3*. The
features user data management, automatic detection
functions* and the IMS*, TIP* and OTS* systems are con-
cerned.
Go to menu item Access rights and activate it. The menu illustrated beside is
displayed.
Select one out of three access levels by means of the navigator.
There are Loc. Supervisor 1, 2 or 3. The menu opposite is dis-
played.
Now you can define the features to which settings or modifica-
tions can be made by the users of the selected access level.

On units equipped with older software you can only enable or disable the access to the TIP and OTS
system and to the automatic detection function. If the access to a certain feature is enabled, the user
can make settings and modifications in the same scope as you, the Supervisor can do. If the access is
not enabled, he only has the rights of a user with operator access level.

As user with access level local super-
visor 1, 2 or 3 you cannot assign access
rights. The menu item is therefore not
available to you.
