Demo Mode
You can set whether to use a demonstration of the Smile Shutter and Scene Recognition.
When there is no need to view a demonstration, set to [Off].

• Pressing the shutter button during the Smile Shutter demonstration operates the shutter, but no image is
recorded.
Demo Mode1 Demonstrates Scene Recognition mode.
Demo Mode2 Automatically starts the Smile Shutter demonstration when no
operation is performed for 15 seconds.
Demo Mode3 Automatically starts the AVCHD format movie playback
demonstration after the camera has not been operated for a
predetermined time while connected to a High Definition (HD) TV
using an HDMI cable (sold separately).
Off Does not perform a demonstration.
