Viewing images with a computer
You can capture images and sound from an analog video unit connected to a computer
which has the DV port to your camcorder.
Before operation
Set DISPLAY in to LCD in the menu settings. (The default setting is LCD.)
The POWER switch should be set to .
Operate by touching the panel.
(1) Press FN to display PAGE1.
(2) Press MENU to display the menu.
(3) Select A/V t DV OUT in
, then press EXEC (p. 170).
(4) Select ON, then press EXEC.
(5) Start playback on the analog video unit.
(6) Start capturing procedures on the computer.
The operation procedures depend on the computer and the software which
you use.
For details of how to capture images, refer to the operating instructions of the
computer and software.
After capturing images and sound
Stop capturing procedures on the computer, and stop playback on the analog video
unit.
